    I’ve been trying to get my hands on this globe for 2 years! This one came with an Austramax - but it looks better on an Aussie 242B

    @Buckaroo

    Nice globe indeed. The ventilator colour is interesting. Is it a bit more yellowy, lighter or olive, than some 242Bs. I'll have to lookout for one.

    Was that the Austramax with the speckled vent? I was watching that one, I wondered if it might have been a bit special with the speckled. I see your patch from old coleman parts on the table there, I got a little torch with some stuff from him the other day

    It was @Brian Reynolds . I certainly spent a bit more than I usually would as well but I’ve been keen to add the old speckled vent to my collection, as well as the Coleman globe so for me it was two items in one.

    I did think it might have been a 2/300 (as a friend of mine has a 2/300 with that vent) and so I was extra keen as I still haven’t found one. It was an old 3/300 and whilst very happy to get the vent and globe, the search for a 2/300 continues!

    I probably need a break from the bay of evil for a while now, back to the markets!

    Yep certainly worth it for the globe. Even the new ones are a bit hard to come by at the moment
