Covers for my lanterns

Just received some covers for my three lanterns. These are designed for rechargeable lamps, but work well for for kerosene lanterns too. These will help protect my lanterns when I take them on holiday next month.

 

They look good, they must help keep the lantern in good condition during storage too.

Nice idea, especially if you have a rare or hard to find lantern you want to take with you but don't want it banged up!

 

Look great would they ship to the Uk or anyone know if someone does similar?

 

If you fold a piece of corrugated cardboard around the inside it really helps protect the globe.

@Thomas, thanks for the tip. Protecting the globe is certainly one of my top priorities.

 

Thanks actually dropped them an email last night, looks a decent company some interesting stuff on there.

 

Great idea and they also look ‘the bees knees’! I’m running out of space in the display cabinet, so that’s a possibility for storing rare lamps that you don’t want to get covered in dust.

 

Hi Max, they have sent a contact, just out of interest your ones look quite big ie. tall but the site looks like just 30cm. Is this the size you have height wise ?

 

Hi Rob, the 9W height is about 37cm (they list 35cm) and there’s still wiggle room at the top.

 

Thanks very much Max, think they would be great, unfortunately their importer for that size is talking approximately £35 here plus postage which is more than double your cost. Will give it some thought. Thanks anyway I do think they would be good.

 

APB in Kidderminster stock the camp cover range. They aren't the cheapest of suppliers but they are reliable. This is actually a toilet roll holder but you get the idea. Less than £20
