    I posted a pic of this one earlier on my Christmas table but realised a short time ago that it wasn’t in the gallery. I fiddled about trying to get the colour right, in real life it’s a deeper, richer colour.

    Hi Jean,
    Absolutely gorgeous ! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

    Could I ask about the batwing?
    Does the metal that the deflector is made of look like brass or is it a silver colour at all, please?

    many thanks

    @podbros, I think that part, the actual ‘Wings’ is a replacement, the rest is brass. I think the whole thing should be made of brass, Jeff for one would know,

    Thanks Jean
    The only one I’ve seen was very old, and it was silver coloured (stainless?) so that’s two now :thumbup:
    Hopefully Jeff can concur [-o<

    Thanks for looking Jean, there may well be both types out there?
    I believe they are riveted in place so not a straightforward job to change but possible I suppose?
    It was only a thought..
    Well done on finding it :mrgreen:

    Good luck with finding one James, they are still out there. Two of my vases were lucky finds, two cost me an arm and a leg (or should that be two arms and two legs?).
