    a good friend order one of my 316 tribute arc lanterns so I wanted to give him a little something extra-- built this custom shipping/storage crate for him

    Lovely work. My late Father was a chippy by trade and he was always amazed that I had no woodworking skills at all.

    I think I prefer the crate to the lamp! And I love the workshop too. I wish I had a place like that to work and experiment in. Living in an old tiny cottage, I’m confined to the shed or loft!

    well the crate protected the lantern fine on its trip to Missouri- and the new owner is a happy camper !
