    Lamp porn ........ she’s a beauty and I’m in lust.
    Seriously nice lamp here, I love these Colemans especially from this era.
    It’s the first 427K, a kerosene version of the 427 that I’ve seen outside of publications. This one appears to be an excellent example.
    Thank you for sharing.
    Cheers
    Pete

    That's in good shape, despite the age. What's the colour of the hood enamel?
    Seafoam green?

    I think D39 indicates July-Sept 1939. Seafoam green top, I think...
    A real stunner, Tom!

    Sorry to contradict you @george but I think the “D” represents the 4th quarter of the year. D/39 makes the manufacture October - December 1939.
    Cheers

    @george
    No way is it time to hang it up. [-(
    You have so much knowledge and experience to give and also to learn.
    Hell, I sometimes walk into a room and wonder why did I go in :shock: I’ve looked for my glasses for an hour only to realise that I’m wearing them.:roll:
    So enjoy the ride, have fun and keep on keeping on. :D/
    Your friend
    Pete
