An EVERBRIGHT , Made by Coleman for the Everbright Lamp company, sold by Simpsons Sears between 1930 and 1933. Only 556 were ever made. Very heavy lamp, shade is period but there's no information on what shades were supplied with this lamp.

Interesting? I could do with a better image of it not running and without the shade please. Also a detail shot or two of the burner would be good if possible.

556 only? Where did you get that figure from? I have never seen any data on production from Canada and I think I have seen another of these. Two from around 550 is a pretty good survival rate so I have doubts. ::Neil::

Here is the example in my collection. It has not been restored yet, and shows Black paint over the original factory Blue finish on the [handle].

A FORMAL POSTING OF THIS LAMP WILL BE MADE IN THIS SECTION FOLLOWING ITS RESTORATION. I apologize for shouting..

This Everbright shares the same burner system as another Coleman (made for Yale)-Yale Arcolite 513

Yes that is the same burner. Interesting because the Yale burners were "Made" in Chicago and we might assume that the burner for the Everbrite was also made there and exported to Toronto. ::Neil::
