Well I enjoyed it, though the kids didn’t last for long due to the cold. Went for the Coleman 327 and the Focus 08, two of my favourites!

A charming scene and well lit. Are chestnuts in season there ? Chestnuts followed by marshmellows roasted on the fire would cheer the youngsters up a bit despite the cold.

No, the chestnuts have been and gone now. I have just planted a sweet chestnut tree at the bottom of the garden but it will be a few years before it fruits. Nothing quite like a bonfire and a light up. Will be even better in a month when the temperature hits double digits!
