I saw on internet this kind of lamps some times and I wonder if they are genuine Coleman manufacture or custom made lamps?

    Thank you.

I’d love to see and comment about the originality of the said lamps but more information and pictures are needed please.
    Cheers

Bracket lamp fount with a Quick-Lite lantern head, possibly 1930s-ish.
An example of this lamp is shown on page 37 in the “Guide to Vintage Coleman Products 1900-1983” issued by the International Coleman Collectors Club, Inc.
It states that no documentation or brochures of the example shown has been found and that it may have been a special order.
All in all, it does look very good and I’d love to own it, price depending of course.
    Cheers
    Pete

As far as I know Coleman never showed this in any catalogue. Odd really because other companies such as Akron and Thomas marketed an outdoor bracket lamp but not AGM or Coleman. Lamps like that always require a base plate to mount the lantern head and that is where you might be able to detect the hand of an amateur. ::Neil::

Ok, thank you. I could see both lamps, Akron and Thomas, on the Lamps Gallery here.

They were made here as well. Evening Star and I think Kildark made an outdoor bracket. ::Neil::

I have models BLQ and B327 listed so I assume somewhere I have evidence for both. I have just found this image which I took in the Wichita Coleman museum in 2000. They had it labeled as model B327. ::Neil::
