Goulburn Special Table Lamp

    Here is another product of that fine old lamp maker Unknown Inc. This lamp has an AGM "Instantaneous" burner which is a modification of their G type burner which was introduced around 1916 ish. I suspect that Unknown Inc. bought a job lot of obsolete burners from AGM possibly in 1938 when AGM went bankrupt and then attached these burners to a variety of locally made founts and such. The possible Kopsen connection can be seen here with the tank which is either a Tilley EX100 or Kayen lantern tank.
    The filler cap and handle are identical to AGM table lamp fittings from the about 1916 to the mid 1920s which does rather reinforce the notion that a job lot of parts was bought in from the US. I have seen a few of these lamps so this is not a one off but a production lamp. ::Neil::

    Is the burner on this table lamp stamped with the AGM Patent No.?
