Handi KeroPet

    From the name, it is seen that the lantern could either be used with Kerosene or Petrol. Changing the fuel required the generator to be changed. As set up from the factory, the kerosene versions had a red label and the petrol ones a blue.

    This is presumably an early version, as the red top is not that common.

    Hello Nils, I have one of these lanterns but it has a grey hood.

    The lantern works well and it's bright, it's a pity about the design of the cage, as only Handi glasses will fit and the glass in mine has a chunk out of it.

    It does make it easier to fill the meths trough though! :lol: Jeff.

    I think the grey hoods were the more common on the earlier lanterns. Later it was black that was standard.

    When they run, they run well. I've had a bit of trouble getting the pricker height set up right with these.

    I believe Handi Albert has made an adapter so you can fit a normal size glass. Havn't seen one in the flesh though.
