    A bit difficult to get a good image of the stamping on the font due to reflection

    Close up of the pre-heater torch. This one has a needle valve rather then the more common toggle/over centre style. The wheels are made up, from a red Bakelite round knob, as there were none as found.

    The preheater torch is operational but as with most torches is has a carburising rather than neutral or oxidising flame that leaves a carbon deposit at the top edge of the glass globe.

    Found in Australia quite a few years ago, can't recall where from. It was in my "collecting phase". I am now in my restoration phase. Initially my objective was to simply make them operational now it's more about preservation. I also intend to try nickel plating.
