    Hello,
    some weeks ago I was able to acquire a very nice HASAG 55 table lamp through a tip from a friend via a classifieds portal. It arrived in very good condition including some spare parts. I took it apart once and put it back together properly.
    There are different opinions about the year of manufacture of the HASAG 55 lamps, ranging from the 1930s to the 1950s. I have come to the conclusion that most of the components of my lamp are from the pre-war period and only the glass is from later production. I got the missing hood cover, the nut and the shade from my stock.

    Very handsome lamp and in great condition. Thanks for posting it and congratulations @leo :clap:
    You may post some pics of disassembled lamp/parts if you have any.
    Does the reflector has a "HASAG" or logo on it from underside?

    all the best,
    Piotrek

    Hello Piotrek and others,
    thank you very much!
    The shade has a HASAG marking. I was able to trade it in from a collector some time ago, but I'm not 100% sure if it's an original (it's my only HASAG shade, so I don't have a comparison ;) ). At the moment I don't have any pictures of the disassembled lamp, but a second handle with tube was included. I'll be happy to add a few more pictures at the weekend.

    Hello Leo,

    to me, the cutouts look as if they were sawed out by hand!

    Best regards,
    Jörg

    @Jörg Wekenmann
    Hello Jörg, it is correct. The cut-outs were cut out by the previous owner so that he could use the shade with a lamp with a carrying handle. But I'd rather have this shade than none at all ;).

    If Reinhard's shade is a copy from Korea, perhaps my shade is an original after all?
