Here is my new HASAG NO.39 SP the other sticker on it says "for Spirit" in German "für Spiritus". The inner mantle was missing so I take one from my 150er Geniol which I modify for spirit. Also that Globe. The jet is stamped with 100 but a needle from a 500cp Petromax fits easy in it. It has also the EFAR 608 Tank.

Nice lamp but being for alcohol (spiritus) shouldn't be there a straight vaporizer ?

Martin, that's a lucky find and an extraordinary piece that would surely fit well in my collection, too ;)

Wim, as far as I can see from the catalogue pictures that I have got, a straight (slanted) vapourizer was only used in the No.21 (Liliput Lantern) and No.25 (Liliput Table Lamp), but never in the No.34 Lantern and No.39 Table Lamp, which always seemed to use vapourizers with Preston Loop.
Of course the 300HK models No.51, No.55, No.351 and No.355 have had also straight vapourizers, but that might not be of interest here.

The No.39SP alcohol version seems to be a rare beast since it does not appear on any catalogue picture that I have got.

    BR, Martin K.
