    Since the lantern is powered by gasoline, I thought it would be dangerous to leave it in its old condition, so I decided to disassemble the part through which the fuel passes.

    I tried to disassemble the shut valve by turning it counterclockwise.
    However, after about half a turn I could clearly feel metal hitting metal, and it wouldn't turn any further.

    If anyone knows more about this lantern please let me know.

    Do you pull out the shut valve "1" in the photo, rather than continuing to turn it counterclockwise?

    Or if you separate "2" from "3" in the photo, will "1" be able to rotate counterclockwise?

    1 was just a matter of pulling it out.
    I'm writing this down for anyone who has the same question in the future.

    @Piotrek

    Thank you.

    As someone with little experience, this lantern has parts that I'm unfamiliar with.
    I'm disassembling it carefully.
