    Pretty pleased with this amazing time capsule
    NL 323 but sporting an IL collar This is in amazing condition and was found in the 427 box with newspapers dating 1925. I suspect when the new model came out this was put away in its box and has been there until it’s recent discovery !
    A light clean was all it needed !
    Very fortunate to have this one !

    @Akeepsake Perfection !

    Couldn't help but notice the "tools" shown in the last image of your post, particularly the cleaning needle which bears a strong resemblance to an as yet unknown needle I have in my collection. My example can be seen here 7th item down from the top.

    Hi Henry Never seen these until now
    Here’s another pic
    The large tool is for removal and the small is for inserting new wick

    Tony and co ,Not much to tell Originally came off eBay And I got it from the buyer in Texas
    Never been touched I’d say as I have some minty stuff but this takes the cake ! It was uncleaned when I got it and only needed a minor wipe over

    @Akeepsake Ahh. A close-up reveals all. I couldn't make out the screw threads and mistook it for a cleaning needle.

    Henry.
