    This is the 829/500 with an old Tinkwon top reflector. Way too bright to use in a small tent but it did the trick.

    @Emiel Old thread resurrected, sorry. Question, what make of tent do you have please? And how have you found it?

    I am thinking of upgrading to a tent that you can use a wood burning stove in, and of course light with lanterns. Yours does both!

    Regards, Alex

    Nice ambience in the tent with the lantern light and the Johnny Walker.
    Enjoy

    @Alex Smith , www.moosecampwebshop.nl
    But haveing a stobe or lantern in a tent is not limited to a tipi shape tent.
    Any (cotton) tent with a heater pipe opening can be used.

    @WimVe thank you for the link, it is helpful. I've been looking at Tentipi and Robens (Klondike and Kiowa models) so far.

    @Alex Smith
    I have the Tentipi Safir 9cp. It is perfect for winter camping thanks to the cast iron woodstove. It is even possible to have an open fire inside the tent thanks to the ingenious vent system in the top.
    If you need more info, please let me know.

    @Emiel Thank you for confirming which tent you are using. I did wonder if it was a Tentipi, they are very good tents.
