    It’s roughly 5’ 3” to top of burner Anthony, this was the shortest version of the FS, the others were quite a bit taller I believe. A stand could be made Anthony I’m sure, also I think there will be electric standards of similar style that maybe could be utilised then if you had a spare copper bowl from a Jacobean (!) you could attach it and hey presto you have an FS.

    Only know of two others James, one made its way from Ireland to Finland and a few years ago there was a report of one (possibly NOS unless it was used during power cuts) held in a hardware shop on Orkney.

    Lots of us have had bargains of NOS sold for ‘old money’ prices but an FS for just a few ££s? Hold on, I bought mine for £25 in new money!
