Out tinkering with one of my AGM 100 lanterns today as this winter I broke the pricker wire on a brand new genny. I had a couple pricker rods and a shell of a genny, at first nothing seemed to work and also saw the pricker rods had two different ring threads maybe one was off of a Akron, some lanterns have the pricker rod engage the pricker shaft like some brass stoves that have a rack. Got lucky, one old rod with correct ring size had a little bit of wire left on the end and I could barely feel it when rotating the pricker mechanism, now the pricker works again. Thought I might have to send the rod to a guy who does repairs, Oldcolemanparts only had the incorrect length genny left in stock. Duane
