I never thought I would find a Lilor and wonder how it came to be used in a blacksmith’s shop here in deepest Aberdeenshire. @Michel need not be jealous, this must be the plainest, crappiest Lilor lamp possible. I’ll clean it up a bit but am quite certain that anything else will be beyond me.
Hi Jean, Welcome to the "Lilor Lamp" family. Good catch! Exterior wise it seems fairly complete, but it misses the outer cowl head with shade holder. Check the steel bottom plate, often pin holes and also problems with stuck controls. GOOD LUCK! ca. 1930 Lilor "Transformable" model nr. 1935 lamp /Conny
This lamp seems complete or almost complete to me and it should work after a good cleaning and disassembly. The lower part of the burner, on which we attach the glass tulip or the globe, seems strange to me but we will see better with a few photos when everything is clean The STA burner is very stable Good catch
