I have listed this as an OL50 but I am not sure if that is correct. What type of globe is this lamp supposed to have - is it just a 182 globe?

James, that looks really weird so it will be interesting to see what everyone else says.

Hello James, yes, that is a post 1939 OL-50 and a 182 globe is the globe for it, that globe carrier is home made, but it will probably do the job, Jeff.

...and if it doesn't (or you want it to look 'correct'), then Part No. 188 is what you need.

Unless you want to make one yourself, of course, from some suitable wire...

I will have to improvise something as Neil did with his Challow as the tab on the gallery to attach the holder has snapped off.

I think I would keep that globe holder. Might want a bodge to hold it up where the tag is missing but that home made gizmo is part of the lamps history and anyway it looks cool. ::Neil::

Just needed some new washers and a clean and it's running nicely. One doughnut down one to go.
