Optimus 550 - 500 cp 1970's

    I just got Lucky as this lamp followed as a Sidekick to the other one I really went for.
    It appears to be unfired and Optimus is written all over it. It is the first time I got one with a paperlabel on the tank.

    Please note the sweedish landscape in the background I think it fits the lamp very well.

    Nice find Claus. It's not often an unused one turns up. This one is fairly early so from the 60s, quite possibly the early half. I'm not sure how long they put the stickers on the tank but not many have survived.

    the last photo is excellent :thumbup: :thumbup:

    some one in America found a wooden crate with 4 brand new Optimus lanterns , complete with spares etc . WW11 surplus .
