    Nickelplated, hence the designation 'F'.
It uses what you would call a stove tank, but it's a designated radiant heater, so it's not a conversion from a stove. But you could convert the radiator to a stove! That kit was called 701.

Still, it's very close to a stove indeed, but I figured it must be along here any way in order to complete the 700-serie from Optimus.

Do you still have this heater? If so I have a question, or two.... I have recently gained a 700F, not as shinny, but in good condition for its age, the plating is gone from the reflector. Unfortunately it is missing the dome on the burner... Any thoughts on where I could locate a burner dome and what is under the dome in the way of burner?

Sorry Karl. I have missed this old question of yours.
You should have sent a PT.

But I have seen reproductions (I just answered in the other thread).
I'll send an e-mail to a person I know in Taiwan if it was he who offered them.
I have a vague recollection that it might have been from him I saw it, but it's not certain. It might have been another re-producer since I also have seen some good stuff like this being made in S.Korea.
