This is an Optimus 700F that I rescued from a scrap bin.
The pictures show it after an initial clean and a straighten, the reflector was rather bent and split.
The top of the burner was missing so I borrowed a burner inner and out cap from my Optimus 1S to test the heater. Doesn't hold pressure well so I have ordered a set of seals from Fettlebox.

Does anyone know where I can get the correct burner top as shown on the other Optimus heaters in the gallery?

Very pretty! You should also post it on the sister site http://classiccampstoves.com/ I think it should have a perforated brass hemisphere above the stove burner which glows red in use. Juliands has them, I think.

    Thank you for the feedback.

There heater domes on 'bay are larger and sit on the stove, whereas the ones shown on the other Optimus Radiant Heaters on CPL sit on the burner, see below

Yes. As Karls says, the dome meant for stove tripods are a totally different thing to the one used on this one.

However, I have seen reproductions for the Optimus heaters of this kind for sale too.
The damnest thing is that I can't remember where.
I have a faint recollection that it was from the same people who managed to reproduce the Primus 992 top and "pumpkin globe".

Do you still got the insulation disc (as seen below)?
I wouldn't be surprised if it's missing. It often is on these.
Not crucial, I guess, but the burner might run too hot without it.

    Hi Christer,

Thank you for the pictures and information, unfortunately my heater was found with only the burner head, no caps or heat shield.
