Not sure I am convinced about Made in Germany. This looks like a Pakistan or India product to me. Some of those small workshop lamp makers are not shy about making false claims. ::Neil::

I have two small pressurelamps in my collection that looks exactly like the Petrostar.
One is called Petro Pintsch 150CP and the other ist called Picostar 200CP.
Probably they were made from the early fifties to the end of the fifties in or near Constance on Lake Constance in Germany.
Petro Pintsch certainty belonged to Elektro Pintsch.
The relocation of kerosene lamp production to Hamburg Bergedorf to Mayer&Niss took place around 1960.

    Regards, Reinhard
