Petromax 816 Table lamp

    I have seen two of these so far and I expect there are more out there. A 350 cp lamp probably from the 1950s or early 1960s. So far we have not found this model in any catalogue. There is an 816 in a pre WW2 catalogue but that is a wall lamp with a kit to convert to a wall lamp. However this is not a conversion of that earlier lamp because the parts are Post 1950.

    I have the other one, as you may remember..
    It is the first one I grab to light whenever the lights go out, because it is such a good lamp. I see in one of the other topics a model 811 which looks very similar.

    The 811 and the 816 are from the same period.

    The 811 is the little brother from the 816.

    They are twins, but with different sizes
