Petromax 826 - Missing part / Part name?

I have stumbled upon a lovely Petromax 826 that I want to get back in to working order. A few things a missing such a the glass, preheater "spirit dish" and nozzle.

When I took the lamp a part, I noticed that the lower part of the vaporizer is missing (the lower part going in to the kerosene tank). Is it possible to buy just this part or is it possible to replace with just a brass pipe of some sort?

 

It is "just" a piece of pipe. At the bottom end there is a piece of copper mesh installed.
Not necessary, it also block fuel when full of dirt.
I have once used a copper tube of a pencil.

Sometimes the pipe is rattling about in the tank.
