Here is a lamp i recentely got Had some problems getting it apart with bolts being stuck a some corrosion on the metal work. I repainted the tank as much of the paint was gone. Anyway good result am pleased with it. Cheers pete
Well done Based on the English words "pressure gauge" and the scale,I can see that the lamp was intended for export to a presumably English-speaking country. The lock for the pump suggets that it is a pre-war lamp.
@Reinhard thankyou for the information never realised it was made for uk market and had no idea of the dating of these this is the only petromax i have had as i usually collect english lamps. Picture of the lamp as found Cheers pete
