Petromax Rapid 828 with smooth carrying frame 350 cp The lantern was apparently hardly used,if at all. I had to desolder, repair, and resolder the leaking pump The tank scratches are faint but perfectly legible 10/6 A typical feature is the pressure gauge, which Petromax only offered in this design in the 1950s. Leo Ross was a dealer who sold equipment for civil engineering and road construction. The company existed throughout Germany before and after the Second World War. Petromax lamps were also offered in their catalogs .The catalog shown is from 1934 and my Petromax 828 is from 1956.
That is a very good looking Petromax. The collar is also smooth but not the "sicke" design. In my opinion, the Petromax from the 1950s somehow appeared more refined in their manufactured structural features. Not sure if that's just my impression or what. Nice catalog.
