    Hi all,

Several months ago my friend Serge Dupont sent me these two Phoébus lamps, a number 625 kerosene lamp for in-depth maintenance and a number 631 benzin lamp to make a mica globe for him.
I completely resealed the joints of the 625 by fitting a new needle for 200 cp.
Viton gasket for the tank cap.
Graphite and lead seal for needle control.
I removed all the flexible Teflon plumber's tape gaskets back to the original source.
A little copper grease for the brass parts.
Cleaning only mechanical parts for a light test.
Fresh oil, three generous preheats, a Pétromax troubleshooting globe and the lamp works perfectly despite a small 150 cp mantle.
Before the lighting was asthmatic and now they have disappeared.

For number 631 I did a small overhaul, removed the plumber's flexible Teflon seals, firmly tightened all the parts and remade a mica globe.
After a little preheating with a lighter from the Coleman 155 type generator, it works and lights perfectly despite a small 150 cp mantle.
Now they are back on the road to meet the lucky owner at the end of the week.
For my part, I apologized to Serge for having taken so long to finally be able to take full care of his two lamps last week.
I was caught by obstacles and a busy schedule but now I am happy to have been able to do it like this.
I put the greatest care into it as with my own lamps.
I will now return to the redevelopment of my workshop for lamps and then get back to restoration work with lovely projects awaiting me.

    Regards,
    Titoo.

These two lamps are on their way back; I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Gilles ("Sellig"), who also contributed to the restoration of these two little Austrians, and I will not fail to present them on the site as soon as possible; and as I don't want Titoo to get bored after having done all this fine work, I sent him in exchange two or three incandescent mouthpieces, Denayrouse type, which are now in excellent hands and will come back to life quickly!! This is a nice exchange of good practices!!

    @Serge ,
Saving the 631 generator was an epic adventure, but the result is functional.
And thanks to @Titoo for the final check !
