Hi all, This is one of my two examples of the Nulite 110 M lamp. The 100 M lamp was a development of the torch lighting 110 lamp into a match lighting lamp. The first match lighting generator for this lamp model was a coiled generator, very much like the Q99, but with a conical connector. My lamp has the coiled match lighting generator and a burner supported by a steel rod. Shallow fount with a angled straight air tube. I'm not sure is this is the first or second version of the Nulite 110M. In a catalogue pre 1920 of Neil Mc Rae, there is a 110M lamp with a higher fount and a burner with the coiled match lighting generator, supported by an air tube (very much like the Akron 102 ). Later in the 20,s there was a third version of the 110 M lamp, now with a flat square burner supporting section, curved air tube and now also with a new generator, the "umbrella" inverted cup generator. A patent for that lamp was filed in first of November 1920, patent granted June 3rd 1924 (which is stamped on the inverted cup of the generator). My lamp came in a used condition, a bit poor plating and a battered coiled generator. Cleaned up nicely though and with the original pretzel shade it is on of the nicest looking table lamps in my opinion. /Conny 1920/1924 patent drawing 1919? catalogue drawing from the Nulite 76 catalogue (owned and shared by Neil McRae) comparison of my two 110M lamps and some "before shots".
Conny, you lucky devil I have been hunting around for a shade for the lamp I posted here on 1 November. Probably never find one but I can dream!
