    Hi all, a newbie here.
    I recently acquired a Vapalux M320 from eBay which I have fitted new seals to, given a bit of a clean and polish and am very pleased with.
    I have a question, possible daft, once the lamp is lit and the pre-heater has burnt out, should the pre-heater be left in the raised position, lowered back down, or does it not make any difference? Thank you all in advance.
    Mick

    @Mick E.

    Hi, and welcome to the forum.

    As @JEFF JOHNSON and @ROBBO55 have both said, lower after the lamp is running. Vapalux lanterns are virtually bomb proof and it should give you many years of faithful service.

    Regards, Jeremy

    Beautiful lantern!
    It has to be lowered.
