    Hello,

    Quite some time back I received this Radius 119 lantern from @Nils Stephenson thank you Nils. We did some trading and I'm pleased to have my 119. It has sat on my to do pile for a very long time but today it was time to get this lantern up and running.

    The things that needed to be done.
    First off the leather pump cup needed to be soaked in oil. Next came the rebuild of the NRV. The SRV needed a total rebuild with a new viton gasket for the SRV side the brass plate was in very good shape and a new filler cap washer. I did a dunk test and found it leaking air from the fuel gauge so I made a new gasket which solved the leaking problems.
    The vaporizer was mostly plugged with carbon so with quite a bit of heating and quenching along with some decarbonizing fluid the vaporizer is very clean. When I pulled out the pricker rod it was in very bad shape so I got another pricker rod with new pricker needle and jet.

    This 119 was very dirty so I did some cleaning and yes I know it could use with quite a bit more cleaning. Most likely I won't bother because I like a user so it will never be pretty.
    Sorry I forgot to take the before pictures.

    So here it is partially cleaned up.

    The hood or top is in fair shape so one of these days I may replace it but for now it is doing it's job.

    Good to see it working Norman. I like the way the 119 is quiet compared to a lot of other lamps.

    I'll have to keep an eye out for a better top. I'm a bit embarrassed about how that one looks.

    Damn that's a nice lantern and well fettled my friend!

    I find it so interesting to see the commonalities between different manufacturer's was of doing things... like the method of holding the hood on which is just like the Veritas 350/p9955.

    @Nils Stephenson

    There's no need to feel embarrassed. Let's face it those of us who do collect lanterns know that most have been abused in many ways.
    You are correct in stating the 119 is quiet.

    @Matti Kucer

    I found these Fargo mantles on the bay of evil.

    @AussiePete & @ColinG & @JEFF JOHNSON

    Thank you guys for your very kind comments.

    Cheers to all of you,
