    A real monster! Heavy as hell. Had a McKey glass with a small lighting hole.

    They certainly are ! A sturdy branch and strong chain needed to hang this lantern from a tree at camp.

    The Brown Bomber!

    That one looks prime with pristine paint and vent. Me envious! Me want!

    An impressive lantern. Do you have any idea who the manufacturer was? I’ll keep looking but haven’t found it in the PLC yet.

    @X246A Jeremy,
    I believe these were made by Preway (Prentiss-Wabbers)?

    This thing is bomb proof!:-$ It's the heaviest lantern I have in my collection. Loaded with fuel you would probably need two good hands and a strong back!:whistle:

    I’ll keep looking in the PLC! Is it a bright light or long running?

    Regards Jeremy

    @Henry Plews Henry, you would have to find a redwood tree to hang this thing! You take this with you when you go to "barbell camp"! lol

    Hi folks

    Thanks for the information. I did eventually find it listed in the PLC as I knew it must be. I just need to refine my searching techniques.

    Regards Jeremy
