A nice enough lamp that had a good working life. All these parts were on it when I got it except I replaced the reflector as the old one was no longer a reflector. This one came from America and had the remnants of the Thacker decal. It was painted black a long time ago but not painted on the back so as to keep the instructions in tact. The interesting thing about this one is that it is dated on the inside of the back leg. June 1958

I don't know of any black versions with a date mark. Not likely to be many anyway since Tilley didn't date stamp before late 1956. 1958 seems early for a silver paint AL21. Up to this one all the first three variations I know of are black. ::Neil::
It just occurred to me that this lamp needs some size perspective. It may be bigger than some think or it may be smaller. Perhaps we should show size in our posts better than we have.
