Nice, but where did you announce where and when?

There have been nothing on CPL or CCS of what I have seen.

It is usually announced in Events & Meets but not this year.

    Where where you this year.
    I hope not near me.

    Michael

Sorry about that Michael, I'll take responsibility for that mistake. It just slipped my mind. It was held at a camp ground at Åmål, so only 300km from you.

It was a nice weekend and the weather cooperated reasonably well until about 11 PM Saturday night. We must have been about 16 or 17 collectors and then there were a few wives thrown in as well, so we were probably over 20 all up.

On the Saturday we had a competition as usual with 200cp lamps and 300cp lamps to see which one will burn the longest. They must be the common standard size like a Primus 1020, Radius 119, Optimus 300 etc. The idea is that the lamps are not allowed to be touched after they are lit. Here are a couple of pictures of the 300cp and 200cp competitors.

We then had a bit of a discussion about the variations of the Optimus 930.

Of course there were lots of lamps lit when it got dark. Here is a shot showing the final two lamps in both the 300cp and 200cp competitions, as well as a lot of others. This is about nine hours after they were lit.

There was a very nice Swedish Aladdin.

    And the general scene.
