Hello all, I thought that we should bring this Tilley table lamp back to life, I know it's not the original colour, but it's the closest i could find.
She just looked so run down that i couldn't help myself.
I seem to be a sucker for run down lamps, that I just can't help myself, I feel compelled to re-store them. I also can't do a half job, it's either leave it alone or full steam ahead.

We have just pulled her out of the oven, so i need to wait a week or so then a can re-polish the column,
I was so happy with this lamp that i couldn't wait to put her back together, and i had to use oven cloves to hold her.
I believe this is our best work so far on table lamps, I hope everyone that see this lamp will appreciate all the time spent on this project.
The gallery was the worst one that i have ever seen, it took about 4 hours to get all the pitting out, but i persisted with the burger, I think it's come up quite well, enjoy those of you who like what we have done.

Is this going to be a shelf queen, or will we get a money shot eventually.
    Lovely restoration .
