    Looks good @Buggerlugs nice paint job and the hood looks to be in very good nick.
    Is the hood an original or a reproduction?

    It sure is original hood. Its been in the family for nearly 40 years now.

    Thanks. 40 years is only half the life of the lamp and I wondered if you knew the previous 40 year history prior to your family acquiring the lamp.
