Here is my example of a Tilley OH-574, this trackwork lamp was used for inspecting tunnel ceilings and overhead cables etc..

The reflector tilts from almost vertical to almost horizontal and this lamp was reputed to give a light of 4000 reflected candle power.

As with all lamps which use a reflector, the CP., depends on the condition of the reflectors.

The bottom of this example has 3 pegs for securing it, but the illustration on page 54 of the Tilley book, shows only one central peg, Jeff.

I'd always assumed that was just the front peg at that corner, Jeff, but looking at the illustration carefully this time, I think you're correct. It also looks larger than one of the three pegs.

    Well-spotted!
