Hi, I’ve had a passion for pressure lamps for many years. Now retired I have found myself going through some that I collected over time and stored in the attic. I opened this one today, (very exiting) then carefully replaced it all and it’s now back in the loft. My intention is to actually have this one on my dining table in the future on full display. But will I ever fire it up? Maybe?
I do have a KL80 and many other lamps fired up ever day in my workshop and enjoy the warmth and light they give.
I believe date is somewhere around 1930 but not being an expert was looking for some more information please, but just happy to show and share with you all my excitement of opening a box from the past. Hopefully you will enjoy me sharing these pictures too.
I have never joined a website like this and am still learning what it’s all about, so sorry if I don’t respond straight away.

Thanks Jean J, I think from time to time it will be on display. It is just nice to get it out and check it over, and repack it carefully now and again. I will just have to play with other lamps as far as lighting up evenings go.

What an amazing find you have there, personally I would never light it up, I believe its from 1940 to 1946 as it has the GF control cock on it from the factory new in box.

A wonderful table lamp. Did you buy it brand new all those years ago?

Each to his own, but I reckon it's a shame NOT to light it.
