Hello all I am very happy as I have now been sent a X246 brown hood from my mate in the UK.
This lamp will be left as is in original condition I did put in a polished burner head on for now, when I find one of the same condition it will be changed over.
I have decided to name this lamp, normally my lamps are all females I dont know why but they are, so this one will be a he and his name will be Bigstevie hint hint.
I'm very pleased to have such a beauty in my collection especially from an Australian point of view as our X246 are all spectrum plated.
    Enjoy fellow lampers.

...and an earlier brass pump! :)

What's wrong with the glass? - it looks right to me...

The pieces move about when cleaning, and the pump was already in it. It also seems that the tank washer i need is smaller than the X246B type?

Pity about the glass Johnny and surely that’s an aluminium pump? Your lamp is still nicer than the one I picked up a few weeks ago.

@Jean J Thanks, yes the pump came with it, but I'll try and get hold of a Brass one somewhere.
