I found this little Turner some months ago. It was in good condition when I found it. It needed a good cleaning. The pricker was broken, so I made a new from a Coleman pricker, and that one worked fine. The tube for the fuel pickup was broken, there was a small peace of thread to hold it on place, so a little soldering solved that problem. The lantern was burning reasonably, once lit. Most seals of the pump have been replaced by Tilley seals. Special thanks to Ross of "The fettle Box" who helped me to find a good pumpcup for this lantern, the original was torn.
Well fettled and well photographically documented. I’ve not seen one of these before, thank you for sharing. Cheers Pete
Great photos of the strip down, must have taken some time (and some planning!). Thank you, nice looking lantern, you must be pleased.
