    This is a late version of the 361LN. Probably shortly before the move from Leipzig to Beierfeld. It has a straight universal generator and a smaller preheater than the VEB 351 LN. This model even has the pump for the subsequent BAT pressure lamps. The VEB 361 LN was manufactured from around 1952 to 1962 with slight modifications.
    LN means slow Preheating and standard thread.
    L=Langsame Vorwärmung =slow preheating
    N=Normengewinde=standard thread

    @Reinhard

    Thank you for the fine presentation of an interesting lantern.

    What does “Standard Thread” refer to?

    I thank you all:thumbup:

    @MarkC
    The material is asbestos.
    @Tony Press
    I think it affects all threads on the lamp. But I didn't measure them.
    @WimVe
    There was nothing on the bottom of the tank. And now it's repainted.

    Regards Reinhard
