    Recently I acquired a Veritas P350.
The generator, burner, air tube and valve assembly were all clean.
Oiling the pump leather and a new washer on the filler cap enabled me to light it without any real problems.

There is only one issue an that is that there is a quite a leak at the valve control once the the valve is opened.

Here is a picture of the valve stem:

Compared to a 220C valve stem, my P350 valve does have the graphite packing and a second brass bushing.
There is only an O-ring and a wider brass bushing.

I have added a Coleman graphite packing and it reduces the leak, but does not completely solve the leak.

Does anybody know what the P350 valve stem should look like?

    Thanks!
    Dion

Adding a smaller Coleman brass bushing and a graphite packing did the trick.

As the control knob is glued/molded onto the valve stem, I had to pry out the snap ring first to be able to slide the bushing on the valve stem.
