I purchased an old canvas drawstring camp light bag. Galvanized metal can inside with thick grey felt pad in the bottom of can. The label says “ Trade BEAN mark ,made by LL Bean incorporated Freeport Main” I have searched extensively and can find no reference of when this was made or of it. Any information or can any one can help with dating? Thanks in advance.....this is my first post.

Army Kit bags were a bit bigger I think, and certainly didn't have any metal support within, so it's quite conceivable this was intended to protect something fragile like a lantern. Can you tell us the dimensions please?

G'day @Cj wilson and welcome to CPL.
I haven't seen one before (not that it means anything ) but if your lantern fits and doesn't rattle around then it's fit for the purpose.
