    Hi guys
    I have just taken possession of this double mantle Coleman lantern. Can anyone help with identifying its exact model and year of production and what fuel??

    I have included a pic of the lantern and also a pic of what's on the bottom of the fount.

    Thanks in advance
    Simon

    @Simon Henderson

    If I’m right in reading the stamping on the base of the tank, it’s a “2” on the left of the Coleman logo and a “7” on the right. So… that would indicate July 1942 if it follows the stamping pattern shown by @Toby Garner here:

    7/1942 Coleman 220B

    I see also what looks like “US” stamped above the Coleman logo. Toby’s lantern does, too. Are there any other letters associated with the US stamping?

    Cheers

    Tony
