    Hi folks

Is anyone attending or displaying this year?

I will be in attendance from 1730hours as a visitor as it is my daughter’s graduation day ceremony so no time to travel and prepare a display this year.

Keep a lookout for a grey beard and a battered old Tilley hat and please say hello!

    Regards Jeremy

I had planned to drive up from Kent but I'm sorry to say I had a bit of a cardiac "event" a few days ago and I'm confined to barracks....

    Next year for sure !

@Seamanjive I hope the "event" wasn't what I think it was??
    Rest will be the key.

Low potassium and magnesium led to arrythmyia/ectopic beats...I actually became I'll at work...and I'm an anaesthetist practitioner in operating theatres...

    Good place to keep over!

I'm feeling much better and eating lots of bananas!

    Hi folks

Thanks for all comments. It’s well worth attending if you have the opportunity.

@JEFF JOHNSON I would estimate 250+ visitors but I wasn’t displaying this year and didn’t stay to the end.

@WimVe Yes, only three. I only had my flash-less iPad with me and if I got closer to the displays the camera couldn’t cope!

@bp4willi I look forward to seeing you there next year. Early details will be shown here: ITM When we're open

    @AussiePete @george
You will have to ask them!

    Regards Jeremy

Lamps displayed by Neil and me included:
AGM 3016. Coleman table lamps Model AA and Q, lantern 339. Economy (re-badged AGM P66). Hasag 55A and 351L. Hoda. IL&S model 80 (re-badged Knight Light model KK). Kitson KD4. Nagel Chase 103. Petromax 523/821B. Phoebus 611 (like 615). Pitner model 2001. Primus 1001 and 1020. Standard 6122. Tilley VL1 (reproduction). Unic - Lumiere model 6 and 9. Volcan 400. Welsbach W3008 Examples of which can be found in the Lamp Reference Gallery and if they were all working as advertised a potential total output of around 6750 c.p.

Add to that Stu's impressive display - another 3000 c p (?) and you've got some serious light.

    Henry.

Hello Jeremy, it's a splendid event for a worthwhile cause and I would like to attend it again and even add to the display, unfortunately the round trip for me is about 1700 miles! Jeff.

Hello Henry, that is an impressive amount of light!:clap::D/:D/:clap::thumbup:. Jeff.

I see you still have that pink plastic VL Neil, unless you’ve replaced it with a real one?

    Hi Neil.

Your camera can cope with the high intensity of light far better than my iPad.

Oh I have two of the real thing here in gold and blue but there is no way I am about to risk carrying them in the car. That plastic one is bullet proof. There is some pretty rare stuff on that table. I think all of them are in the galleries.

I am still using a proper camera and can control the light. In theory my phone has more mps but I have only just got to the stage of working out how to send a text. ::Neil::

Very happy to see that old 351L at the front of the table, shining brightly. I would never have had the skill to get it back to life.
    Well done.

@MarkC Well it does have a Peerless 111 mantle fitted so yes, it's a nice bright lantern and all thanks to Stu @loco7lamp who did the technical bits for me.

    Henry.
