    Hi all
here is my last restauration. A hunging lamp from Bré (15, rue de lancry, Paris X or 19 & 23 Rue Bichat, Paris X) It runs with gasoline with a wellknown burner.

The small brass rod is the needle cleaning system. It is protected against the heat by a bakelite cylinder.
In order to clean the jet, you just have to push it up to the top.
here is a drawning of the patent (june 1914 FR 477503)
A very simple and solid burner.

Unfortunately, I cannot give it a try, because is missing the manometer.

It is difficult to give a production's date, because I have never seen this lamp in any paper, but I believe from the 20's.

Nice lamp Michel  . Seems to have the same burner head as on my Bre table and hollow wire lamp.
C´mon Michel, all you have to do is to plug it.
When I posted my Bre table lamp years ago, I plugged the cleaning needle valve in order to make a lighting try. I have replaced the burner on that one by then.

    Hi Wim
it is an hard work my dear, but I do my best ;-)
I am sure there is some unknown models here or there
I have discovered a new brand those last days, have you seen the Intens/etna lamp ?
Nice lamp even if I have some problems with the needle system. In fact, very exciting.
This one needs a manometer, but with a little luck, who knows ....

Beautyfull lamp Michel as always =P~ .

Is the shade fixed in that position? If so, is it then possible to turn the lamp at the ceiling?

Is the lamp made with a special purpose? Lightning up paintings or so maybe :-s .

Sorry Claus, I havn't seen your questions :
the shade can be turned all around, because it is held by the 3 screws, as a globe.
I don't know what was the use of this lamp, but I think in a workshop where they have needed of a lot of direct light.

1/ I had to find either a manometer, or a screw to plug the tank's hole. No manometer at this instant.
And the thread is an old special french thread (difficult to find)
    This is done.

2/ when I have first pumped, I have realized that the tank was very stressed all around.
I had to tin solder the bigger cracks by the outside and to do a epoxy resin treatment by the inside.

This kind of burner was usually given for 250/300 CP. But this one is more powerfull. Around 500 CP, not less. The 4 air intakes are open in contrary (for exemple) to this Bré table lamp : http://0flo.com/index.php?threads/9498

here is the lamp, as I found it, a workshop's configuration :

And here, more cosy ("bourgeoise") with a enameled shade and a fantasy glass from the 20's.
