I was lucky enough to purchase this recently, they don’t come up very often in fact I think this was the first time I have had such opportunity. The chrome is a bit thrashed in places and the burner is missing one of the air vent screws, easily fixed with a bit of polish and an air vent screw from another Tilley (not the same but stops the burner rattling) just having a little play with it at the moment before I enter full fettle mode. It’s marked 1159 underneath do I would assume November 1959?
Sadly someone had attacked the tank with something course so I have been unable to buff the scratches out with loosing the plating. I must say I think the lamp construction is very good, the flame thrower burner is a bit aggressive for the space it occupies. It’s not my finest fettle but now fully working.

    Well done @Gary Waller
She looks like a Real beauty, and you have resurrected her completely operation as it was intended, Tillite and all.
Your X359 would be a valuable example welcome in any collection.
    Cheers
    Pete
