Hi guys! I stil need to clean it but seems that it was never lit, or maybe just tried. It has the plastic parts securing the glas.
    Best regards,
    Frank

    Hej/hi!

    Looks like the first variation.

It's a very good lantern if It has no leaks and is clean as it seems to be. Dont run it with the plastic glass protection.

My lantern runs on good quality kerosene like the Biltema Lysfotogen.

    Rehards.

What's the price in Biltema for lysfotogen?
    @Matti Kucer

Difficult to find stuff in Estonia for much less than 3 euro/litre

    It looks well-made.
Similar to a Petromax or perhaps Anchor.

About 3 euro/l. I use the Dollar store light starter, about 2e/l (20sek)

The Biltema Lysfotogen is in my opinion a high quality kerosene and cost around 5 euro/liter. As others mentioned the Dollarstore or Ö&B Lysfotogen are cheaper. The 1551 i have is not happy with the lighter fuel, it smells so it wants the lysfotogen kerosene.
My Optimus 200 is not that picky and works well with whatever comes around.

    Wow!
That would be super expensive by the standards in my part of the World.
I'm getting decent kerosene(clear and colourless) at an equivalent price range of between 1.00 to 1.20 euros currently.

Yes the difference is big between locations in the world. I recently spoke spoke with a man from Syria, and they produce it locally so therefore less costly.

    Hello there,
I am a new member to this forum and have the same lantern as above. But I need new parts for it.
Can anyone point me in a direction where I can buy this in the EU?
    Bests Lasse

    Blypackning
If there are not big parts, ask them to ship as normal mail, cheaper.
