Please help me i am really sick. Does this happen to others and can I be cured?

In all honesty, I think many wives would be happy that their husband can go and spend $14 that makes him happy and keeps him at home and busy rather than going to the pub or betting away the household income.

The finest medical brains have not yet found a cure for the disease once you are travelling down that
slippery slope there is little hope... What a way to go....sell a few lamps inflict the condition on other poor souls ....

I've told myself so many times that I could stop... that I've got enough lanterns and don't need any more but another one always pops up and begs me to buy it.

But it's true what @Matty says, we could be drinking or gambling or much worse! I'm sure there are plenty of women who wish their husbands or partners would take up a constructive hobby that hurt no-one and kept them in the shed, workshop or garage. It may cost a few bucks here and there but it keeps us happy!

So what is the starting point, how many lamp before you catch it? Just so i know if it's already to late, or I don't have it yet, I need a number to know.

Well by the way it is essential as we have the brightest house in the street, and we are not even using electricity, or gas as I have Tilley heaters as well

I've now reached 80 lamps plus heaters and my collection is small compared to some members on this forum.

Re size of collection, funny thing. I've spent today remodeling the shed so I can store more lanterns and make better use of the space for my "modest collection". :D/

Once the bug has bitten, the little bugger keeps on nibbling.
Have to say, I’m very happy that I been bitten and chewed on.
I’m my case, It’s not just about the lamps it’s also about the mates and contacts I’ve made all over the world.
    Cheers
    Pete
